POP Walk 2020

Join us for POP Walk 2020, the People of Parkinson's Walk, Virtual Edition, Supporting the Mission of the CSRA Parkinson Support Group!

Parkinson’s disease affects us all, whether we are patients, families, friends, neighbors, co-workers, healthcare professionals, spiritual leaders, business leaders, or students. We are the People of Parkinson’s

With the health and safety of our group in mind, our 21st annual Parkinson’s fundraising and awareness walk will be our first-ever “virtual event.” We will not be getting together in-person, but will instead host the event online, through Zoom video conferencing and Facebook Live on the original date and time, October 3rd, at 10 am. This way, POP Walk 2020 can still include many of the important aspects that make our event unique and help us to honor and remember our loved ones while raising awareness and funds to fight Parkinson’s disease.

Please register by September 10th to receive a swag package in the mail including an honor/memory bib and multi-color marker to decorate it. If you donate or raise $25 or more by September 10th, you will also receive a custom POP Walk face covering in your package while supplies last!

10 AM: Join Us on Zoom for the Virtual Event

We encourage participants to walk, run, ride, or roll some time during that weekend, October 2nd through the 4th, wearing your honor bib and any POP Walk or team swag, where and with whom it is safe for you to do so, then take pictures or videos to share with us by email or through our Facebook page!
